We Use CARBONBOND product to help strengthen your walls. Often needed due to the settling of the foundation or water damage from the leaky basement.
CARBON FIBER FOR WALL REINFORCEMENT
Carbon fiber presents a long-term, stable repair option for bowing walls that does not involve any intensive installation process. Carbon fiber reinforcers are ideal for situations requiring a cost-efficient, durable, and minimally invasive repair. The ease of installation is part of what makes carbon fiber so much cheaper than traditional steel solutions in the long run.
- Strength:
Carbon fiber has incredibly high tensile strength—up to 10 times stronger than steel.
- Impact:
Far less intrusive than steel, carbon fiber is installed with minimal damage or disturbance to walls.
- Speed:
Installing carbon fiber systems is a fast and efficient process.
- Cost:
Carbon fiber is a cost-efficient method of wall crack reinforcement and foundation repair.
- Multi-purpose:
Concrete crack repair with carbon fiber is practical for both interior and exterior wall repair.

CARBONBOND CARBON FIBER SYSTEM ADVANTAGES
The Carbonbond Structural System is a patented technology that integrates the advancements made in aerospace to produce solutions for homes. The system is strong, safe, and economical.
One of the targeted uses for the Carbonbond Structural System is as a reinforcement of concrete and block basement walls. In particular, woven carbon fiber straps can prevent damage by providing 10 times the strength of steel to resist soil pressure against basement walls.
Using high strength polyurethane to fill the existing void and high tensile strength carbon fiber sheets to prevent any further movement, the Carbonbond System stops cracks in their tracks. With carbon fiber materials stronger than steel, Carbonbond bridges the forces to fix the crack.
There is no excavating or drilling, because the Carbonbond System installs easily without the need for bulky or noisy equipment. Compared to steel, carbon fiber fabric is over 10 times stronger, much thinner (only ⅒ of an inch), and 40 times lighter. Carbonbond repairs are entirely maintenance free because they will never corrode like steel. With the ease of installation, incredible strength, and durability of carbon fiber, it’s easy to see that no other choice makes sense.

- 10 Times Stronger Than Steel
- 40 Times Lighter Than Steel
CARBON FIBER INSTALLATION
A certified technician should determine whether this is truly the best option for leaning walls. You can choose to waterproof the interior of the cracks before the reinforcers are installed.
The installation itself is exceedingly simple. The cracked surface must be prepared; then the contractor installs the adhesive and firmly presses the carbon fiber against the wall. Either woven or laminate carbon fiber can be used, and the walls can be cleaned and painted following installation. If done properly, there will be no visible changes to your home apart from the cessation of the wall bowing.
Installing Carbonbond is a simple, 4-step process:
- Inject polyurethane into the crack to stop water leakage
- Prepare surface and apply primer
- Bond carbon fiber to the surface to cover the crack
- Apply a final coat of epoxy
